How Do I Utilize
Secondary Websites?

by Shannan T. Hearne

One of the best ways to generate additional internet traffic to your primary web site is by the utilization of secondary web sites. For those of us with no html coding experience that is a pretty daunting process. And many of the free site design tools at sites like Tripod and Angelfire are ineffective at best for making an even rudimentary web site.

Two wonderful services now give you an option to do just a bit better. City Slide and TerraShare are focusing on making a web presence available to everyone.

You can generate in only a matter of minutes a terrific looking web site with all the bells and whistles of a master web site designer at City Slide without any knowledge of html, cgi, java, javascript, or any other programming languages or tools. The templates are custom designed to make your site perfect for your business, product, service, or personal page. You can visit City Slide at http://www.cityslide.com/door.cfm/24

TerraShare is building a knowledge network on the internet and offering free web site hosting. Not only do they provide you with cool site building tools, but if you want a secondary site that 'mirrors' your primary site you can use their fast and easy site copy tool. TerraShare is also offering great cash revenues just for having a site and driving traffic through it with one of their banners on the page. While this is like the traditional Tripod and Angelfire theory, it isn't the same thing at all. The revenue sharing opportunity with TerraShare is just a little extra incentive to have some extra traffic. You can join TerraShare today at http://www.terrashare.com/join/successpromotions

So how do you get extra traffic with these secondary web sites? You get duplicate listings in the search engines, unlike doorway pages. You get extra revenue creation opportunities with affiliate links, banners, etc. You get more online presence and you get more opportunities to attain high search engine rankings.

Many companies will charge you an arm and a leg for doorway pages which are considered spam by some of the search engines. But the two site providers listed above will generate quality traffic at little or no cost to you. And you don't have to be a rocket scientist or a web designer to be successful.
