Auto Responder - Instant Automation

by Carlos Arenas

If you're not using auto responders then you should. You've been wasting valuable time that can be used marketing. If you're still managing all your business requests personally, then you should consider using auto responders.

For those that don't know what an auto responder is, I'll tell you. It's simply, an email account that sends an automatic message anytime someone sends a message to it. In other words, you send me a message requesting info and my email account automatically sends the info you requested within minutes. This is a crucial tool for the online marketer; especially one with a tight budget.

This tip will be very useful. I'll show you how to use this tool correctly.

There are special autoresponders you can get for free that allow for 10+ follow up messages. The follow up is what gets the sale. You must remind the prospect an average of seven times before she decides to buy. That's called "the rule of seven" (I use GetResponse.com. They use a very fast server. I have no complaints yet.)

Let's say you have a website you're promoting. Instead of promoting the actual URL, promote the auto responder address; yourname@autoresponder.c om. This way you get that person in the auto responder sequence. You can edit the different messages you want your prospect to receive for a particular time interval. So the person gets the info instantly, but then is reminded every 2 days or whatever interval you may decide.

You can also include other back end products to offer your prospect in those other time intervals. When you write your messages, make them personal. There's nothing worst than a blatant sales letter. Engage with the prospect. Make the letters as personalized as possible.
